October is Manufacturing Appreciation Month. Over the past 30 years, the industry has evolved and the digital transformation has made new careers and new opportunities. To help shine a spotlight on some of the new roles, we will be spotlighting different employees all month long. This week, we are featuring our Customer Experience Manager, Ryan Worzella. We asked Ryan a few questions to help people better understand a little more about his day-to-day work.

Q: How would you describe your role at Sure Controls?

A: I am our customer experience team manager.  I work with our customer care, applications specialists, in-house controls technicians and marketing specialist to ensure our internal and external customers are receiving excellent service and support and to help grow the Sure Controls brand offerings.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: My favorite part of the job is working with our team of experts and empowering us all to think outside of the box to come up with solutions for our customers.

Q: What is your biggest challenge?

A: The normal things a leader must manage with a growing business: scalability, hiring and retaining top talent, physical space constraints, supply chain issues, etc.

Q: Would you recommend your type of work to others? Why or why not?

A: Absolutely!  Whether it’s getting a replacement piece of hardware overnight from one side of the country to the next to get a customer back up and running or getting new team members up to speed as quickly and efficiently as possible, every day brings with it a new set of challenges.

Q: What is something people might not know about you?

I am a walking depository of semi-useless trivia knowledge.
